Upgrading Dashboards and Migrating Data for LG Energy
LG Energy engaged MyDataWorks to strengthen its data foundations and improve how insight is delivered across the business. The focus was on creating a more reliable, scalable reporting setup that could support day-to-day decision-making while reducing reliance on manual, spreadsheet-driven processes.
A key part of the work was improving LG Energy’s dashboard offering. Existing dashboards were reviewed, refined, and restructured to make them clearer, more consistent, and easier for stakeholders to use. This included improving data quality at source, simplifying metrics, and designing dashboards that better reflect how the business operates, resulting in reporting that is more trusted and actively used.
Alongside this, MyDataWorks led the migration of critical operational and reporting data into a new, structured system. Data was consolidated, cleaned, and reshaped to provide a single, dependable foundation for reporting and future analytics. This migration reduced manual handling, improved confidence in the numbers, and created a platform that LG Energy can continue to build on as the business evolves.
“Neil played a key role in helping us untangle complex data and system challenges across our CRM and reporting landscape. He quickly got to grips with our processes, data structures, and constraints, and was able to translate that understanding into practical solutions that genuinely moved things forward.
His background in energy systems and data analytics really showed, particularly in how he approached reporting, workflow design, and data integrity. Neil was proactive, collaborative, and pragmatic throughout. He was equally comfortable working at a strategic level or getting hands-on when needed.
He was a pleasure to work with and added real value in a short space of time. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Neil to any organisation looking for someone who can bridge the gap between business needs, data, and technology.”
